Chip Ranco has been a PGA Member for more than 35 years and serves as Haworth Country Club's Director of Golf. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for outstanding instruction, player development, and creating an exceptional golf experience for members of all ages and skill levels.
Chip oversees all golf operations, including tournaments, instructional programs, leagues, junior golf, PGA Jr. League, and member events. A PGA Certified Professional in Coaching & Teaching and Player Development, he is also a nationally recognized Top 50 U.S. Kids Golf Instructor. His passion for growing the game has helped make Haworth's junior golf program one of the area's most successful. Whether you're picking up a club for the first time or looking to sharpen your game, Chip combines modern technology, personalized coaching, and decades of experience to help every golfer improve and enjoy the game. His approachable style and commitment to member service have made him a valued part of the Haworth community.
Mark Thornewell – Director of Instruction
Mark Thornewell is a PGA Member and Haworth Country Club's Director of Instruction. With a lifelong passion for the game and extensive experience teaching golfers of all ages and abilities, Mark is dedicated to helping every player reach their full potential. Mark leads the club's instructional programs and oversees all junior golf development, creating a fun, welcoming, and competitive environment for young golfers. Together with Director of Golf Chip Ranco, he has helped build one of the area's premier junior golf programs, including leading Haworth's PGA Jr. League team to a National Championship.

Chris Polizzotto – Assistant Director of Golf
Chris is the Assistant Golf Professional at Haworth Country Club and is passionate about creating an outstanding experience for every member and guest. With more than 15 years of golf experience, including competitive play and professional instruction, Chris enjoys helping golfers of all skill levels improve their game.
Chris assists with the club's daily golf operations, tournaments, leagues, instructional programs, and junior golf. His background in coaching and member service, combined with his friendly and approachable style, makes him a valued resource both on and off the course.
